Respect IP. Respect Attribution.
Every line of authored content — an article, a financial filing, a research study, a novel — is an act of human intelligence. Attribution is not a formality. It is the acknowledgment that knowledge has a source, and the source has rights. In the AI age, where models train on vast corpora and agents retrieve and redistribute knowledge at scale, attribution is under structural pressure. Tech has spent years taking without attribution or retribution.
The streaming industry learned this from both sides — and in doing so, proves the principle. Every major platform depends on IP protection to license and redistribute their own content. Without enforceable attribution and ownership, the content that makes their platforms valuable cannot be licensed, cannot command fees, and cannot sustain the studios that produce it. IP protection is not a constraint on distribution. It is what makes distribution worth building. This same logic and proof applies directly to every knowledge industry now entering the AI era.
Tasset’s ADAP makes attribution structural, not procedural. Every coordinate encodes document identity — D001 cannot be confused with D002. Every citation resolves to a singular source, an exact location, with an absolute, mathematically stored value. Attribution is not an annotation added after the fact. Tasset builds it in to every line of intellectual property.
